EMERGENCIES

These cases need to be treated as soon as possible:

• Jaw fractures
• Fracture of an immature tooth: i.e., a fracture of the tooth in animals less than 10 months old. These should be treated within 3 days
• An avulsed tooth (tooth "pulled" from socket) that needs to be reimplanted. These cases need to be seen within hours for treatment to be successful.

In the case of an emergency, always contact your primary care veterinary surgeon first. They can then assess your pet and arrange a referral appointment.
